土曜日の午後一時、リナは雨の中、みどり会館に着きました。今日は町の小さな上映会を手伝うことになっています。
午後二時から、町の人たちの暮らしを紹介する二十分の映画「わたしたちの町」を見ます。映画の後は、話したい人だけが感想を話す予定です。
係の森さんは「隣の小さな部屋も使えます。準備を手伝っていただけませんか」と言いました。リナは友達のユウや係の田中さんと、どの仕事をするか相談しました。
Opening scene in English
At one o'clock on Saturday afternoon, Lina arrived at Midori Community Hall in the rain. She is helping with the town's small film screening today. From two o'clock, they will watch a twenty-minute film called “Our Town,” introducing the lives of people in the town. After the film, only those who want to talk will share their impressions. Mori, the coordinator, said, “We can also use the small room next door. Could you please help with the preparations?” Lina discussed which job to do with her friend Yuu and the volunteer Tanaka.
